Punk outfit The Clamor formed by Aaron Louis, Director of Audio Visual at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in collaboration with Omer Leibovitz @ MoMA and Grammy Award Winning engineer Alan Douches announce their debut album, sharing a glimpse of the upcoming project with double singles “Cardiac,” and “Turing Toy.”
With the album described as a “collision of styles,” balances vulnerability and having fun as it snapshots Louis’ thoughts and feelings in a way that creates a safe sonic world for anyone listening.
Where the aggressive yet infectious tones of “Cardiac,” is a celebration of music in all its glory, the gritty “Turing Toy,” delves into something more personal as it explores the bad traits we inherit from our parents and how these traits leak into our own life and relationships.
An attempt to pick up the vestiges of comfort provided by the punk rock scene growing up, the album looks set to be a joyous yet thoughtful musical journey if these latest two anthemic and alluring offerings are anything to go by.
