Vancouver-based rapper 5AM ZERI started out as any music-loving kid does – trying to write lyrics after watching Eminem's movie, 8 Mile, in 2002. Although he had a variety of hobbies, 5AM ZERI always found himself coming back to music. Whenever he faced mental and emotional struggles, music was something he could always lean on. As he got older, 5AM ZERI began to write only when a certain beat or artist inspired him to. While he was pursuing a sports career at the time, ZERI eventually realized people liked his music decided to pursue it full-time. In March of 2017, 5AM ZERI and his cousins, Pharid and Arya, teamed up to release his first track. he moved to Vancouver, BC, shortly after and hasn't looked back since.

5AM ZERI released his second album, "4.4", on November 18, 2022, featuring a variety of artists and producers he's connected with since pursuing a career in music. Made up of 18 tracks, the album has a perfect amount of variety. From distorted vocal synthesizers to light guitar strums, each song was created with the intent of leaving a legacy behind. The tracks on the album were produced by Krev Mack, Brett Murphy, Highly Collectible, Sasha Bishop, Sam Riddell, Will Jackson, Adam Castillo, and Reuben Lincoln, with features by SAR, Aka Dre, Leela, and Vegemike. Engineers Adam Castillo, Chris Antonio, and Kultar Randhawa teamed up to mix the entire album, while engineer Andrew Downtown took the lead on mastering the tape to full perfection. 5AM ZERI also teamed up with Raincoverage, a marketing and PR firm out of Vancouver, BC, to help push the album to its full potential. A huge project with lots of promise, "4.4" is an album worth a listen or two.
