LA hip-hop act Kahlil Simplis delivers eight-track EP In Real Life, a diary-like sonic experience built upon strong lyrical abilities that draw you into his real life experiences with vulnerability and depth.

With an atmospheric and ambient soundscape elevating poignant yet candid song writing, the EP journeys through the past two tears of Simplis’ life, giving us a glimpse behind the social media persona he projects into his reality.

Led by an overarching message that urges us to focus on the things that matter to us, the project is a grounding and relatable exploration of themes like family, purpose and relationships, leading us away from the trappings of social media to embrace personal growth.

Returning a year after his last EP Safehouse Vol.1, this latest project showcases the evolution of Simplis artistry rooted in lyrical prowess and polished production skills as he sets himself to shine more as a rising star.
