Tucked away on Vancouver Island, BC, upcoming glam rapper Corey Calabasas has been preparing for his big break into the hip-hop scene. A member of Victoria's very own Coronation Collective, Calabasas has recorded a variety of unique singles produced alongside YoEmmet – his co-star. With projects of all styles, Calabasas fuses catchy melodies with upbeat hip-hop tracks that scream "Summer Vibes". His latest track, "One of One," was a mashup of hard trap and a joyous piano melody – complete with monotonous bars.
Corey follows up his newfound style with his latest track, "Desire", combining hip-hop with pop-like lyrics, professing his one and only desire over a happy piano beat.
