Kanashii drops fuzzy number "Nevermind" on dealing with negativity

Alternative shoegaze band Kanashii drop fuzzy rock number “Nevermind,” the second single from their upcoming album Imposter Syndrome.

A track about dealing with negative energy and cutting it out of our lives in order to grow and move forward in our lives, the space-out soundscape blends a 90s grunge instrumentation with a shoegaze touch.

With an uplifting message about removing the people who bring you down, the track’s recording process in Nashville was one rooted in fun-loving energy and togetherness, further elevating the positivity infused within the offering.

Having formed in 2020  amid the pandemic as a way to channel empathy and grief into musical expression. Inspired by the Japanese word Kanashi which translates to sad, miserable, unhappy, or sorrowful, this quartet has mastered the ability to find hope and joy in the lowest of moments, taking us along for the ride.
