Yorkshire duo Kimber explore the idea of toxic nostalgia on “House In The Sky,” which balances energetic instrumentation with vulnerable lyricism rooted in their trademark woozy DIY artistry.

Taken from their forthcoming debut EP Slow Moon, Long Night, the track contemplates on our tendency to build up good memories to make them even better, leaving us wistful for the past rather than finding joy in the present.Honing their ability to reflect upon the world around them while also drawing from personal experience, Kimber’s bouncy yet melancholic electronica can draw people in with its passionate foundation.

Producers, multi-instrumentalists and long-time friends Mikey Wilson and Josh Heffernan come together as Kimber to capture authentic human feelings with a bold sound that manages to be intimate and expansive all at once.
