The APX (Amplified Experiment) is an electro-funk duo composed of Atlanta-based married musicians Erika Dawn Rhodes and Dee Rhodes. The duo's style of retro-funk electronic fusion caught our attention a while back when they released the single "Jupiter" and now they are back with a brand new offering titled "Greatest Love of All". The record blends classic house elements with dance and R&B aesthetics underpinned by catchy melodies and layered harmonies to boot. Led by Erika's commanding and sultry vocals, she brings a mix of the old and new with her and delivers a solid and memorable performance. The record is a tribute to the true essence of love and the duo reminds us that the search for love always leads back to us when we exhibit self-love which in turn allows us to receive love unconditionally and that… is the Greatest Love of All.
The self-produced house single marked their first official entry into the house music realm by popular demand. G.L.O.A is accompanied by a breathtaking colourful music video self-directed and edited by the duo. It is a seamless blend of bright-coloured set pieces, costumes and performance shots with throwback motifs.
The song follows up their 2019 Grammy-considered album Amplified Experiment, which also broke into the top 50 on Apple Music "Hot 100" charts, leading with the funk-infused uptempo single “Your Touch”. After self-producing and promoting their own world tour, “The Amplified Experiment Tour”, The APX experience is back greater than ever, amplifying their much-needed Global Dance Message (GDM) of love worldwide!
