Jiubel releases frantic re-imagination of "Scooby Doo"

Jiubel has once again taken one simple idea and run wild with it.

In new single, "Scooby Doo," the 21-year-old Miami native expands the classic Scooby Doo sound effect into a well-rounded sonic world. Instead of recreating the silly playfulness of the cartoon, Jiubel's track is feisty- drenched with adrenaline, with just the right touch of sensualness. Jiubel keeps up with the tempo of the iconic sound effect with frenzy-filled drum beats and an infectious bass line. Thanks to his own addition of whirlwind and echoey sound effects, "Scooby Doo" feels like a heist so dangerous that even the line between reality and fiction begins to blur.

Using the trendy and ever-evolving nature of TikTok to his advantage, Jiubel simply doesn't have the boundaries of genres in mind. Even so, "Scooby Doo" stands out with an extra layer of grunge when comparing to some of the rising star's prior hits. With influences from rock, r&b, latin pop and a hint of hyper pop, "Scooby Doo" is not bound by any rules.
