R&B artist Kevin Ross' single "Sweet Release" is exhilarating, sensual, and beautifully refined. The artist, who is one of R&B's brightest, is known for his irresistible poetics, honest confessionals, and masterful deliveries.

"Sweet Release" is from Ross’ latest album Drive 2. The romantically charged song resembles warm summer nights, and gazing upon slow summer sunsets with the possibility of the looming night to come. Featuring guitar riffs that reverberate and trip over each other, lyrical plays on romantic tropes, and pristine vocal variations, "Sweet Release" is a contemporary take on classic romanticism.

With lyrics such as, "Girl, you got the light / Diamonds dance in the night / And it's feeling like we on a vibe / Tryna turn the day into a lucky night," Ross guides us through a daydream with polished, juicy vocals and vibrant production that makes for a feel-good musical journey that will leave you breathless.

Kevin Ross blends surrealist production with rich, honey-toned vocals to create a landscape of mood amplifying sounds for his listeners. From his roots at Duke Ellington School of the Arts to earning his scholarship at Berklee College of Music, Kevin Ross has aspired from the very beginning to redefine the limits of R&B and master every element of telling his story. A highly sought out collaborator and solo artist, Ross has his own label Art Society Music Group (ASMG), where he continues to create music that has the nostalgic vibe of iconic R&B with an original, reshaped twist. Listen to "Sweet Release" and get lost in the moment.
