Relli aka Fontzerelli and Donae'o stay "Swaggy"

Relli fka Fontzerelli is a veteran UK artist who made his bones as half of the duo Feng Shui and has gone to forge his own solo career with more than a handful of singles and projects over the years. In the last couple of years, he has delivered a wide array of genre-bending singles that fuse boom-bap, new jack swing, dancehall, and lofi before taking a deserved break from the craziness of the music industry.

However, the love for the music has steered him back, especially with the help of hitmaker Donae’o taps Relli's unique vocal talents for his new song titled "Swaggy." As the title suggests, the track takes on a life of its own with its hypnotic groove and sparse arrangement made up of short synth stabs and thick basslines.

Relli goes straight to the point with his authoritative demeanor while flexing with his African and Jamaican roots and choppy flow. The chorus stays in the pocket too with easily identifiable elements from Jollof to Ackee and a reminder not to approach a badman the wrong way.

"Swaggy" is one of the newest releases from producer/artist Donae'o from his own imprint Zephron Recordings.  Relli adds via email that the duo has quite a number of records together so it's possible for more club bangers to be released in the nearest future.
