Alternative post-hardcore five-piece Lives Lost urges us to let go of the ghosts of the pasts holding us back on “Letting Go Of Ghosts,” a fierce rocking anthem framed by intimate vulnerability.
Produced by Jeff McKinnon andEvan Seeberger, the track takes us by the hand leading us away from the toxic relationships that weigh us down. Sonically, the track is tightly woven moving straight from the first verse into a soaring chorus all laid out smoothly over crunchy riffs broken by crystalline yet screeching vocals.
“Letting Go Of Ghosts,” is accompanied by a music video shot at Forteca Estates and directed by Robert McCoy, capturing the nostalgia and hopes contained within the track in a visual composition that pulls us in.
The single is the first enticing glimpse of an EP A Portrait Of Loss, due early next year. The theme of letting go on this latest hard-rocking number being one of many stages of grieving that the upcoming project will explore.
