Connected through their ever-evolving musical friendship, Glenn Astro and Hulk Hodn combine to form a musical project that truly spans worldwide. Bridging the gap between eclective electronica and Detroit-inspired house, the duo have never been one-dimensional artists, proving their versatility and likening diversity across the scope of their impressive repertoire.

Whether it’s their truly evolutionary approach to electronica, or their ability to push sonic boundaries to incomprehensible heights, the pair have released their remarkable new single “Café Metropol” in collaboration with multidisciplinary artist Gal Go. Offering a jazz-tinged instrumental, Gal Go combines the soothing sensations of a saxophone, with Astro and Hodn’s organ, adding further variability that genuinely embellishes their idiosyncratic sound.

The perfect soundtrack to a sun-stroked coffee house on a bustling afternoon, “Café Metropol” presents the perfect mix of funky beats and blissful acoustics, soaking up the duo’s true passion and ability to bridge gaps between genres.

As they brace themselves for their upcoming album Ghosts, Berlin-based producer Astro collaborates with Cologne beat maker Hodn in a global conquest that has seen the incorporation of young talent from around the world. They continue to trailblaze, with skilful production and creative arrangements that form to create music with the perfect fusion of funk, hip-hop and synth-inspired electronica. Unleashing their catalyst of creativity, Astro and Hodn are becoming the new tastemakers, pioneering an even brighter future for the electronica scene.
