After sharing a handful of singles, the duo of Vic Spencer and Philly producer Small Professor returns with their full-length collaboration titled Mudslide. The 10-track body of work is released under Coalmine Records and it marks Small Pro's third collaborative release on the label after he previously linked with Guilty Simpson and the late Sean Price. The producer adds that this new project continues his style of modern-day boom-bap style with his own twisted edge.

"Main in the Zone Radio (Intro)" sets the tone with its haunting strings and Vic's authoritative vocals. This is followed by the single "Pitfall Music" which features a gripping verse from Flee Lord and DJ Revolution on the wheels of steel. The fun continues with the lyrically-focused  "Lil Jon's Weed Stash", which samples Lil Jon's meme-worthy scream over an ominous, sparsely-arranged drum break. Tracks like "WAVEZ, micro,", "Ew McNasty's Revenge," and "Selfcare Welfare" marry psychedelic vibes with grounded, clever lyricism. Stevie Crooks shows up on the gritty Blaxploitation-sounding "Cherry Red Elephant", and tags team with Vic to paint graphic pictures of dangerous situations while they snap on naysayers alike. "Disobey Your Thirst" tips the scale with its brooding strings and gloomy tale of an individual who is fed up with the ways of the world and decided to take matters into his crummy hands. The project closes out with "Pitfall Music (Reprise)" with a sinister aesthetic that sounds like a scene from an 80's B-movie.

Mudslide is available now through all major DSPs here. as well as vinyl, CD, and cassette via Coalmine Records. Check out the various merch and bundle options which include t-shirts as well as custom-made skate wheels designed by FRKO.
