Swiss artist newcomers Pilar Vega and SENTO are a singer and producer duo who caught our ears with their lofi/ soul sound in the form of this new single called "Hydra". The title is a reference to a self-reproducing plant, not the mythical multi-headed snake, and sees Pilar musing on her own struggles as a self-sufficient individual who is able to go through it all without the help of anyone else. SENTO crafts a sublime and atmospheric backdrop made up of warm piano riffs, lush guitar plucks, and chilled punchy drums to match Pilar's commanding vocals and lilting melodic runs.
Pilar Vega is a Swiss R&B and neo-soul singer with Caribbean roots. She currently lives in Zurich where she regularly performs at nightclubs and local festivals.
