Ashburn, Virginia singer DB Ricapito drops “Patient", which serves as his first release for 2022. The heartfelt, reflective tune sees him collaborating with producer Mark Evich, who crafts a futuristic backdrop ripe with crisp synths, moody arpeggios, and punchy drums that switch up into a frenzy in the chorus section. Ricapito delivers a smooth melodic performance underpinned by heartfelt lyrics that dwell on the blossoming love between him and a woman who hasn't decided on her feelings yet. Ricapito reassures her that she is in good hands and there is no need to rush into things and he'd rather wait for her to ease in.
"Patient" is the lead single from his upcoming EP which will be released this fall.
Ricapito has always been musically inclined from the jump as he taught himself how to play the guitar at just 12 years old. He later found viral success on the performance app YouNow and after a stint with the boy band Beatline Boys, he decided to go solo in 2018. His first single "Lonely" was released in 2019 and his debut EP I Can't Explain It came out in late 2020.
