As part of a powerful and affecting new EP Run Boy, Run, Berlin-based musician LIAS has created one of this year's most emotive releases with "Need Me Now"—an exploration of vulnerability and raw emotion through an outstanding piano chord progression.
LIAS' masterful songwriting abilities stem from his early classical vocal training at a young age, as well as performances on some of the world’s greatest stages as a boy's choir soloist. Today, those honed vocal skills shine through on his new EP as they wrap around a powerful electronic production.
Speaking on his new EP release, LIAS states that – “Making yourself vulnerable is scary. But I realized, the second you open up about what bothers you, you’re not only helping yourself, but you’re also offering something to other people to connect to. And that’s exactly what I want to do with my songs. Knowing that you’re not alone already offers relief. And after all, the fear of vulnerability is outweighed by the beauty of connection.”
