Sacramento emcee, Chuuwee is on a roll as he shares the visuals for the $teven Cannon assisted single "Cup of Red" and another song titled "Russell Brand". "Cup of Red" is a moody trap jam that displays Chuuwee adopting a subtle melodic mumble-styled chorus but his verses are still sharp. Always on his ten, he sends warning shots to the opposition with lines that "It's hard to chill when everybody thinking you play bluffing/ If you keep speaking on my name, you'd have a dead cousin". Xanarchy co-founder $teven Cannon joins the fray with his nonchalant flow and adds his own experiences as an indie artist trying to eke out a living in this crazy music industry.
The visual is a mix of performance shots of both rappers doing what they do best and it's quite straightforward and well crafted as well.
"Russell Brand" is a midtempo track that continues Chuuwee's trippy raps that blend insightful elements and vivid lyricism. Again he displays his lyrical prowess over Money Montage's punchy soundscape that fuses experimental sounds with hard-hitting trap drums. Both tracks are off his new project Ominous Music Playing.
