Not long after sharing their sensual visual for the exotic fruit-inspired song "Kakee", eclectic duo Sofi Tukker returns with one more offering titled "Summer in New York". The record bridges the old and new with its striking upbeat production that draws from 90s pop, breakbeat, and dance music. From the glossy summer aesthetics of the instruments to the commanding vocal performance by lead singer Sophie Hawley-Weld, the record aims to drive the crowd to a frenzy and even includes a familiar melodic hum that will certainly remind many of us of our childhood.
