The last time we heard from Brianna Knight she was waxing poetic about finding true love in the heartfelt ode "So Deep," however in her new single, "Bad Decisions" she dives into a more complicated scenario, or should we say situationship with an unknown individual. The sensual record sees her musing on being stuck in a cycle with someone she knows is not good for her but the physical attraction is just so much that it is almost difficult to let go. Bolstered by an ethereal and soulful soundscape, she delivers a commanding performance ripe with vivid songwriting that highlights her thoughts. She is candid all the way and points out her flaws and as the title says bad decisions but still finds the silver lining to accepting responsibility and moving on from it. The track feels like a confession of some sort and leaves listeners with something to ponder on because we all have made some questionable decisions before and maybe we could just find some comfort in her reassuring words.
