Like Rudy Gobert, Teck-Zilla does some serious work on the boards on "The Coin." Teck arms a classic soul sample with thick trap drums to create a bangin' canvas for Phlow and Alpha to splatter their witty bars and smooth harmonies. Both emcees are equally adept at boogie-boarding over Teck's wavy instrumental, sporting multifaceted flows that culminate in a head-bobbing hook.
Flinging mud in the face of naysayers is a theme that will resonate with a wide swath of listeners. On "The Coin," Phlow and Alpha effectively spray Roundup on the rumor weeds while hinting that it's only a matter of time before they blow up. It's hard to disagree.
