Australia-based emcee Ello. C's newest effort "Virtuoso Freestyle" is a display of his verbal prowess and an ode to the classic gritty sound of underground hip-hop. Over a cinematic brass-driven production, Ello. C brings to the forefront a plethora of witty bars like "Making the word rhyme is only halfhearted/but levitating your mind is a mutant method to exercise/so call the exorcise to dap up all my demons" while maintaining his laidback composure and smooth flow. Also joining him on the record is fellow lyricist Gunnah Y.A  who closes it out with his energetic performance and equally outstanding bravado-driven lyrics. As the title suggests it's subject matter-free and aims to showcase both rappers' poetic craftsmanship.

Ello. C is a Philippines-born, Australia-based emcee whose family migrated to Auckland, NZ in the 90s. He released a handful of mixtapes in 2016 to garner buzz in his community and went on to open for artists such as Kurupt, Xzibit, Mobb Deep, etc. during their Australian tours. Besides making hip-hop music, he is also the frontman of the psychedelic rock band Dream Cities. His last collaboration I.S.O (In Search Of) was with Timba and he is currently working on an upcoming EP this year.
