"Crowded Places" is a heartfelt collaboration between Sydney, Australian lyricist Ello. C and R&B singer Timba. Bolstered by a solemn acoustic guitar riff that exudes a melancholic atmosphere, Ello. C shares his thoughts on valuing one's self-worth in the face of external pressures. Birthed by his own experiences, he takes listeners deep into his past where the good, bad, and ugly are all intertwined. He is joined by singer Timba who ties it up with a soul-gripping melodic chorus that explores his fears and hope.
Ello. C is a Philippines-born, Australia-based emcee whose family migrated to Auckland, NZ in the 90s. He released a handful of mixtapes in 2016 to garner buzz in his community and went on to open for artists such as Kurupt, Xzibit, Mobb Deep, etc. during their Australian tours. Besides making hip-hop music, he is also the frontman of the psychedelic rock band Dream Cities. His last collaboration I.S.O (In Search Of) was with Timba and he is currently working on an upcoming EP this year.
