Harriette unveils her entertaining and relatable offering “Wednesday”

Garfield comics claim, “I hate Mondays," we love Friday's for that familiar acronym T-G-I-F, with Sundays as days of relaxation with the phrase “Lazy Sunday”. 22-year-old singer-songwriter Harriette has cleverly taken this concept and concocted a laid-back release entitled “Wednesday”. With twang-tinged soundscapes and dainty vocals the track is filled with so much charm. There are so many witty Wednesday references like a hump day bumper sticker, middle child syndrome and misspelling the name. Listeners will feel drawn to the tune’s lighthearted playfulness.

The Texas born, Nashville based artist has built her career up by making use of a popular platform. With her creative TikTok videos exploding on the app, she is really making a name for herself. Inspired by artists like The Chicks, her sound possesses country flair while also evoking indie vibes indicative of Phoebe Bridgers. The singer shares, "I was doing a series for my TikTok where I write a song everyday for a week from the weekdays perspective. I had the idea for this series because I was writing another dumb little sad song and I kept referring to myself as a Monday.”
