John Jigg$ and BP team up with Shabaam Sahdeeq on "Killer" [Video]

The rapper/producer duo of John Jigg$ and BP recently put out their collaborative project The Madness. The 10-track body of work is produced entirely by BP who laces the Long Island lyricist with hard-hitting, menacing beats and features a wide variety of names ranging from West Coast legend Ras Kass, super lyricist A-F-R-O who appears on the title track amongst others. As Jigg$ continues to promote his project he now returns with the visuals for "Killer" which is a collaboration with NY veteran Shabaam Sahdeeq. The record is a display of verbal gymnastics and a huge dose of bravado by both emcees who bring the verbal pain over the cinematic instrumental courtesy of BP. From the anthemic orchestral strings, horns, and crunchy boom-bap drums to vivid lyrics like "You fucking with a psycho emcee/ fucking with the kid, I have your life on empty" listeners know these dudes are not horsing around.

The visuals were shot and directed by Shabaam Sahdeeq, who has quite a number of directorial notches under his belt. He makes great use of performance shots by Jigg$ and himself and splices scenes of a grieving family in between to add some drama as hinted in the song. He is quite prudent with the visual effects and the use of sepia-toned grading really amps up the cinematic feel as well. The video was edited by Shock B.

"Killer" is taken from the LP The Madness. Get it on all major DSPs here, you can also purchase the CD here.
