Scott Magnus finds the light at the end of the tunnel with “Diamond In The Rough”

UK pop artist Scott Magnus is taking the music scene by storm with his piercing new single “Diamond In The Rough”.  His unique vocal style highlights his Mancunian accent. That passionate tone flies atop gentle guitars and distorted trap bass to create a darkly haunting release. The intoxicating tune stunningly details the adage “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. We all can relate to the feeling of being in a bad place. At the time it seems as if the sorrow is endless, but eventually, we come out the other end much happier.

Magnus is known for indie-pop tunes that are highly reflective and emotional. Within his music he connects with fans through his themes of self-acceptance and growth. “Diamond In The Rough” has that same introspective poignancy. The track is the first in a series of singles from his six-track EP Comeback Stronger. Scott confides, “The song became like a counseling session where I expressed all of my feelings and concerns: even my longings for a woman I’d met online; to feeling empowered, confident and determined to be better and most importantly, seeing the value that I have; loving myself regardless of what others think of me – I think this journey is reflected in the song!”
