Following his Atlantic Avenue LP last year, Austrian producer and DJ Demuja returns with new single "Love Is Free" from his forthcoming album Period Of Time, due for release in August.
A soul fuelled track that combines nostalgia with a modern twist, "Love Is Free" sees Demuja explore disco, 80s flavours and cosmic house groove. This new single will form part of Demuja’s full LP drop later this year. With 14 tracks to delve into, the new project symbolises Demuja’s creative rejuvenation:
“For ‘Period Of Time’, with this album – I wanted to reinvent myself with different & more original music” Demuja explains. “Even though I still love classic house music, I think it's time for me to move on. Changing, learning and reinventing was, and always will be super important for me, to stay creative & fresh.”
Marking a fresh chapter in Demuja's journey, "Love Is Free" also kickstarts the first in a trilogy of videos. Directed by Greg Barnes, each video is an action-packed journey based around the sacred artefact used as the album art, perfectly capturing the energy of Demuja's captivating sound. When eventually pieced together, the three videos will make a short film. Continuing to push boundaries whilst adding layers to his creativity, "Love Is Free" marks the introduction to some of Demuja’s most boldest and finest work yet.
