Genre-bending producer Bluestaeb is not new to EARMILK and on his new effort titled "Whoa Wait," he delivers a funk-jazz fusion piece peppered with hip-hop elements. The record is a superb collaboration with rapper Ric Wilson and fellow producer Cay Caleb who all add their respective eclectic styles into the mix. Bluestaeb is in his element here and brings a summer funk vibe to the forefront with lush bass guitars, slinky keys, and an arresting drum groove that urges the body to move.

Vocal duties are handled by Ric Wilson who delivers a hearty and vibrant performance laced with insightful and carefree lyrics about taking time to smell the roses and appreciate life for what it is. The chorus is simple and quite memorable as well and sure makes the track catchy as it's something everyone can easily follow. The record is an absolute fun track and doesn't take itself too seriously. It makes for a perfect summer banger to cruise around to or just relax while sipping your preferred beverage.

"Whoa Wait" is the first single from producer and musician Bluestaeb's upcoming album GISEKE. The album will be out on July 23rd via Jakarta Records and features guest appearances from Mick Jenkins, K, Le Maestro, Juju Rogers, and more.
