Following the release of his sophomore EP Tha III Piece: Expression II, Ashton Francis is back for blood in the video for “You Won’t Find”, which features labelmate Moël. With resolute intent, he swiftly dismantles streetlife misdemeanor with plenty of witty anecdotes, calling out those who aren't really for the culture in one quick verse. With ever-alert consciousness on the hazy hip hop beat, Francis raps from a perspective above the smoke.
The visuals show him cruising through the city, sunroof up, metaphorically leveling up, above the noise of nearby gossip and distractions. Francis’ rhymes are a collection of subtle but thoughtful observations, augmented until they form one big concept. That concept is a perspective most won’t understand unless they’re walking in Francis' and Moël's shoes, making “You Won’t Find” an aptly titled track, laced with clever doses of wisdom.
