Belot cuts the niceties on frank new single "Bed"

21-year-old London-based BRIT School graduate and songwriter Belot unleashes the fiery new single "Bed". The pioneer of 'awkward pop', Belot's infectious new track cuts the niceties when it comes to the formalities of negotiating sleeping with someone. Oh, and it's an utter B O P.

Switching dynamics throughout, the single is a whimsical ride of the pop spectrum. With heavy electro-pop moments, "Bed" is an enticing single that demands frank conversations and being honest with someone about exactly what you want.  "'Bed' is about when you have a whole bunch of sexual tension with someone and although you’re both doing the polite back and forth of small talk, at the heart of it you really do just want to hook up," explains Belot. "I think we’ve all had some version of that with someone. I wrote the song after me and my two best friends spoke about the sort of funny social politics that are attached to that situation. What we all really want to say vs what we actually do."

Riding an alluring melody and a kaleidoscopic wave of groove, the track provides an exciting tension-building track that is laced with sultry vocals. It comes in at just over 2 minutes long and that's the only downfall, but just put it on repeat forever. Belot fever is real.
