Seeing 2020 off on a high note, 7ru7h (pronounced "truth") had one last single to share before entering the new year; dropping "Gelato" on New Year's Eve to ring in the new year while simultaneously seeing out a year full of growth and accomplishments.
2020 saw single releases for 7ru7h, with "Gelato" marking his ninth single of the year. "Gelato" features an ethereal beat topped with a confident flow with lyrics all about designer clothes, girls, good times, and his crew. While we saw plenty of single releases in 2020, 7ru7h is gearing up to drop his next full-length album sometime soon in 2021.
Originally from Huntington, West Virginia, 7ru7h was raised in a place often regarded as one of the opioid epicenters of America. He knew he needed to escape in hopes of making something of his life, aware that his negative surroundings of addiction plagued friends and family would likely drag him into the cruel cycle of addiction if he didn't separate himself. Eventually, 7ru7h ran away to Cincinnati to start over while also beginning to take making music seriously. He began to see instant growth which led him to fully invest in his craft. His career really started to take off in 2020 on the heels of the success of his track "Save Me," laying the foundation to go even bigger in 2021.
