Danish DJ and producer Christian Nielsen has returned to Of Unsound Mind to release his latest EP, My Turn. My Turn marks Nielsen’s seventh release on the label, offering two cuts of rave-ready, high-energy techno. Blending elements from acid house, happy hardcore and techno, Nielsen showcases his versatility across these two new tracks.

Suprematic Sounds · PREMIERE: Christian Nielsen — Poser (Original Mix) [Of Unsound Mind]

“My Turn” gets the EP off to a strong start; a booming four-to-the-floor bassline, persistent percussion and choppy, indistinguishable vocals make this one a big-room banger. Acid tinges and atmospheric build-ups transport us straight to an (imaginary) festival tent, and leave us longing for a dance in a sweaty crowd.

On the flip side sits "Poser," an acid-fuelled monster. Giving off a seriously oldskool sound with energetic whoops and bubbling synths layered over the rumbling bass, this one is guaranteed to do damage on the dancefloor. Equal parts dark and euphoric, “Poser” is an easy standout on the release. One that will certainly be doing the rounds when venues reopen, this one was made for the early hours of the morning.

My Turn can be streamed via Spotify and purchased via Beatport.
