After a brief hiatus, Airhead DC returns with a brand new music video and single titled "Condo 2" which will land on Busted Sermon — a six-track EP scheduled to drop December 15, 2020, via Oof Records.
Airhead DC is comprised of Vishal Narang, who wrote and recorded all the tracks himself — not to mention creating the cantaloupe-colored album artwork. Recorded across New York, Virginia, and Washington, Busted Sermon should be, in essence, an album for the American daydreamer. With "Condo 2" landing as the first track, it sets the tone for what listeners should expect to be a wavy rollercoaster ride through the Mid-Atlantic.
Kicking off with a raw drumbeat, Narang wastes no time adding some melodic guitar and gentle vocals reminiscent of Tram Cops. As the video tours around a flamingo-filled, orangutan-oriented zoo, the sweet serene strums of the fingerpicking guitar centers the track.
Airhead DC provides just what his name would indicate — breezy tunes to clear one's cramped noggen. Though "Condo 2" lasts just over a minute, we are able to realize Airhead DC's motivation which can be summed up as an off-kilter lullaby.
