Maria Doyle Kennedy has (finally) returned with brand new music. Her latest single, "Keeps On Spinning." is a moody, expansive track born out of the Coronavirus pandemic.
"Music is the ONLY thing that is making sense right now, and luckily we have been able to get some of it on record," Doyle Kennedy explains.
"Keeps On Spinning" is the second release from her forthcoming album. Bluesy and off-kilter, with a deep bass line and rattlesnake-like percussion, the stunning alt rock track makes excellent use of Doyle Kennedy's intoxicating voice.
According to a statement, "Keeps On Spinning" is "an attempt at capturing the nature of passion, feelings with the power to either ignite a fever or shrivel everything to dust. Feelings that shift you to your bones while the world turns regardless."
