After dropping a single back towards the end of 2024, singer-songwriter Conzemius is finally ready to make her mark. Dreamy hues and moody finishes support Conzemius' debut EP, Of The Water, and introduce the world to her range. Being a newcomer, Conzemius seems to a lush landscape with the lyrics and sound she uses.
Nothing Conzemius does within this EP isn't without purpose. From the whispering melody to the haunting background vocals, the mastery of their craft that Of The Water holds is remarkable. The EP draws inspiration for its title from the very nature of water itself. Ever flowing and equally changing, Of The Water mimics the same property.
From soothing to wide explosive emotion, Conzemius does a fantastic job of pulling listeners into her moody world. Tracks like "Getting Closer" rely heavily on rich ethereal imagery, while "You" journeys a little into an emotional love ballad.
One of the best tracks on the EP is "Library." More upbeat and soulful in its approach than others, the track feels very 90s R&B. Speaking from the heart, Conzemius recalls feelings of closeness and love. Of The Water is an atmospherical tidal wave of musical emotions from a talented singer.
