If you haven't heard of 5an yet, you're bound to find out. Her new single, "Dyin2Live" was released last Friday and is a classic spill-your-guts showpiece.
The dark guitar chords and deep 808s in "Dyin2Live" set the tone for the minimalistic production by both Baso and Atis and leaves room for 5an to get busy. The Florida emcee delivered vocals akin to a Playboi Carti with not only its unique baby-voice resemblance, but she also mentions one of Carti's affiliated brands, VLONE. 5an writes about being plotted against and feeling her life burdens on her shoulders.
This single follows her most recent showing, "Sincerely, 5an" and her 2020 EP 5.L.A.Y.E.R. Hailing from Sanford, this newcomer has the potential to lead the next generation of artists to come out of Central Florida. 5an is gearing up to put out her newest EP on September 4th, entitled, REIGNofVIRGO.
