After dropping a couple of one-off singles ("Underneath" and "Brixton to Oxford Circus" ), Brits nominated Ramz returns with a new single for 2020 titled "Scratch Cards."
Despite his success, Ramz doesn't let the flashing lights get to his head as he reflects on the days when life was tough. The Mitcham raised rapper still displays hunger and passion over the booming beat courtesy of 169 and shares some insight into when he “was the only man” in a household and used his “pennies for scratch cards”. He doesn't attempt to beat us over the head with the mundane stuff but rather show the pros and cons of his past environment and how it affected him.
The Kirx Diaz directed visuals focus more on the present and takes place in South and South East London where we get to see Ramz and his day ones having fun. There are a lot of performance focus and landscape shots that show the rapper's present situation which is a far cry from his rough upbringing.
