It's always interesting to our favorite artists use their favorite cartoons or TV shows as inspirations for their visuals. Not only does it give us a glimpse into who they are as people, but it also makes for pure entertainment to see their take on a show. Brooklyn-based artist B. Aull is looking to follow suit with his latest video for "I'm Not Tryna Smoke", which will have you thinking you are watching an episode of the classic sitcom That 70's Show.
The Sotosodope produced single is a bass-heavy cut that will have you bopping along to the knock. It serves as the perfect platform for B. Aull to create an infectious chorus, Bensbeendead. to showcase his melodic flow, and Brendan Bennett to showcase a more introspective verse. All three artists together gives us the ideal collaboration we didn't realize we needed.
The Joshua James Hand visual perfectly brings the song to life. From the smoke-induced haze to the overall aesthetic, the video pays tribute to the late 90's/early 2000's sitcom. Be sure to stream "I'm Not Tryna Smoke", and get your That 70's Show fix by watching B. Aull's new video.
