As the week comes to a close, it's only right to share this banging joint from Boston-based wordsmith M-Dot, entitled "The Atonement." The song is the debut leak from the emcee who is preparing his forthcoming LP egO anD The eneMy 2: A Dissolute Paradise which serves as the sequel to the ’17 released egO anD The eneMy.

M-Dot is in full form on this track which sees him working with legendary hip-hop producer Pete Rock who laces him with head-nodding chilling instrumentation. The result is a pure display of lyrical haymakers that demonstrates M-Dot’s love for the art of rhyming. He flexes some crazy patterns and internal rhymes over the canvas provided by Pete Rock and delivers that good old hardcore hip-hop that would leave you with the satisfying screwed face.

"The Atonement" is now available on all DSPs here. You can also catch the super lyricist performing live on several stages below.
