Rhomar Jessy drops a jumping visual for "BANGIN (TRAPDRUM)" off his 2019 EP, B. Directed by Anler Sire, the music video takes place in the woods where he and South Florida artist, Aklesso rage in the the rain.
Representing the Philippines, Rhomar Jessy has been releasing music en route to his anticipated debut album, B.U.R.F. Jessy's latest EP, B is the first installment to the series. This makes this the first music video of the entire B.U.R.F. series. "BANGIN'" was produced by longtime collaborator and friend, Enzo Gran.
Rhomar told EARMILK, "The wilderness, whether spiritual or literal, is a place where someone can grow, learn and prepare. That's where I feel like I've been; preparing for my life and music career ahead, through its droughts and fruit-filled seasons."
"BANGIN'" speaks on Jessy's love for the music hustle from an early age. In his verse, he raps,
"Break bread unleavened I was eleven
Burnin' discs like seventeen a pop".
He talks here about the efforts he would take just to get music in his ears. The two give off your traditional mosh pit energy in the music video, which begs for the reciprocation for when this number gets performed in a live show setting.
