Project has been a relative unknown name in the Irish music scene up to this point. That will be the case no longer following this incredible effort titled "Whoosh" featuring the always impeccable SavWithTheSilva.
Originally from Waterford, Project now lives in London and it's clear the scene the scorching scene out there has inspired him. The duality of being an artist with one foot on both sides of the Irish Sea is an interesting dynamic which will set him apart from other acts. This authenticity paired with his keen ear for flow and awareness of his pen game has created an artist that these outlets need to keep an eye on. This pairing with SavWithTheSilva is an abundance of competition and creativity.
"Whoosh" is a drill inspired record see's the two MC's spar and trade flows back and forth in a true showcase of chemistry. The lyrics are surprisingly potent for a track of this kind and as always with anything coming out of the Anomaly Sphere camp, the sheer quality of production is second to none.
The two MC's have expressed desires to keep this partnership going well into 2020. With this marker set, it'll be extremely interesting to see if the next collaboration can match this track. Project has dropped a body work two years ago entitled Untold. This means we are well overdue a new body of work from the London based artist. SavWithTheSilva has very little out in terms of content but expect to see his name pop up all over this year.
With the backing of Anomaly, this could be a big year for project and this very brash and loud statement of diversification in the Anomaly roster gets me extremely excited as to what's next from the Waterford based collective.
