French house guru Tony Romera is back, bringing another heady tech-house track that will surely get "Stuck In Your Head"—for better or for worse.
While not necessarily the most innovative in terms of beat and overall narrative, it is worth noting that Romera continues to push house music forward in the heavy electronic label that is Monstercat—perhaps becoming its unofficial ambassador in all that is house. "Stuck In Your Head" plays well into tech-house tropes; utilizing repetition to his advantage, in conjunction with bouncy textures, Romera sets a scene in which the masses can all groove along in a manner of seconds. It's hard to dislike its infectious vocal samples, which melds seamlessly into the track's heady bass, and it's even harder to dislike the well thought-out build despite its anti-climactic drop. Perhaps it's not everyone's favourite cup of tea, but overall, Romera has concocted another hit that'll surely turn up dance floor around the world.
