Pat Lagoon links with LHK to prove that he is "Smooth With It"

Ireland's Pat Lagoon returns with a wavy trap ballad titled "Smooth With It" and proves, once again, why his pen game is one to watch for this year.

“Smooth With It” is a link-up between Lagoon and much-hyped producer LHK. This wavy trap vibe created by both artists on this track has invented an amazing world for the listener to live in. Lagoon's ear for melody and cleverly simplistic wordplay and way of explaining things is an instant hook for a listener. The impeccable ability to blend melody and bars in the same verses is a talent in itself.

Lagoon has proven time and time again that he is a natural songwriter and has always been able to encompass different feelings and emotions on a track. On the other hand, LHK has created the perfect soundscape backdrop for the vocalist to paint any imagery he likes. LHK continues to prove why he too is one of Ireland's most sought after producers at the moment.

Lagoon had a stellar year in 2019. Having partnered up with the newly formed Anomaly Sphere, he dropped a slew of hit singles including mammoth tracks such as “See You Out” and “Shadow”. His biggest single, however, was the dance-infused smash “Let Loose” which featured production from Anomaly cohort Evan Miles. Having performed at several shows throughout the year, “The Goon” has built a serious fanbase who are itching for more from him in the upcoming year.

Right out the gate 2020 is looking to be even more monumental than last year. With an overdue solo project on the horizon and the possibility of a follow up to the acclaimed Recess collaboration with Rikshaw, this year is looking to be a year of establishment for Pat Lagoon and I am extremely excited to see what comes next for the bubbling talent.
