Rapper and singer/songwriter Fluent celebrates how he’s turned tragedy into triumph in the stylish video for “Long Way.” The banger produced by Gummy Beatz sees Fluent toast to his accomplishments over an upbeat club type backdrop while AD delivers his characteristic off-beat sing-song performance on the chorus.
With direction from the team at Kerrigan Production, the visuals focus on both Flu and his Compton born and raised guest as they deliver their vocals at a local ball court. It’s only right that the two take center stage here because Flu’s lyrics especially paint a vivid picture of where he’s come from and how hard he’s worked to get to where he is today. It’s an inspirational tale and one that hits particularly strong as we all look back at what we’ve accomplished in 2019.
