Who knew that when Kansas and London collided it would create magic. By magic, I mean the dynamic duo WESLEE comprised of Kansas-bred producer Josh and London native Emma.
Having released 2 singles recently – "Something Bout You" and "London Love", they are back with a new release titled "Venus".
"Venus" is a synthy keys and percussion heavy track that crescendos to the chorus. It's the perfect launch pad for what he describes as a "WESLEE duet with itself". Emma's voice being pitched on one verse was meant to be used as a way to get the idea out for the duet, but turned into the "Venus" you hear now.
The smooth cut is about being with someone you love, but realizing that it just won't work as you've grown apart. Emma shared that the single comes from a place of where you could be sitting next to someone, but it feels as if you're worlds apart.
Patiently wait for WESLEE's forthcoming EP coming in early 2020. If you can't, keep "Venus" on repeat until then.
Stream/Download "Venus" everywhere November 1.
