Kraak & Smaak continue to push their musical boundaries with each release. On this new entry, the Netherlands production trio raises the energy levels with a retro-futuristic electronic ballad titled "In Plain Sight" with the vocal assistance of singer IVAR. Built on dreamy staccato synth motifs and a catchy funk bassline, the track forms the perfect backdrop for IVAR's gripping reverb-soaked vocals.
The last time we heard from them was the nostalgia-inducing collaboration "Sommeron". featuring New Zealand-based duo Imugi 이무기. With "In Plain Sight", the group deliver vintage west-coast vibes layered with catchy modern psych-pop melodies that work their way right into our souls.
