Comprised of Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford, joan is a sincere effort concentrated on bringing joy and youthful bewilderment back into the world when it most needs it. Using their quirky lyrics as the building blocks, "ease your mind" effortlessly fills in the spaces with clean, uncomplicated synths and charming hooks. The ease with which these two navigate their soundscape is a refreshing reminder of how pop should be: simple, unrestricted, and above all, fun.
