I See Rivers’ single “Collide” is not a familiar, everyday pop song. The Norwegian all-women trio have an undeniable talent for utilizing all three of their voices in this newest song; melding them beautifully with singular electronic instrumentals and strong piano chords.
The single comes paired with a video featuring a dance duet choreographed with syncopated movements. Another highlight is the chorus, an intricate production of harmonized and quick, snappy vocals. Altogether, “Collide” is unlike any pop song I have heard this year; incorporating staccato harmonies with a more subtle electronic backdrop. I am hopeful to see more of I See Rivers’ unique style on their debut LP, due out in Spring 2020.
