Tyler Acord, known professionally as lophiile has released his latest solo effort, a collaborative single entitled "No Bus." As a name on the rise in the production game, the Washington state-native has encountered a multitude of artists along his way as a DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, and ran into soul pop singer Amber Mark and Col3trane's cross-cultural blend of R&B and hip-hop.
lophiile has been on part of the production team behind the Grammy-winning producer H.E.R., among other projects that span everything from metal to dance music. His solo project has taken all of that into account, where songs like "No Bus" take live instrumental elements – piano in this case – and layers them with funky, infectious and soulful beats and vocals. Mark and Col3trane's performances on "No Bus" have a sense of teamwork about them, inviting us to get in on this lovable new music.
