Boston-based rap duo G-dot & Born just dropped a collaborative EP titled Boomsday with Greek producer Tom The 1st. "Boom" has the duo going back to the traditional golden era style with booming bass and fiery lyricism. The jazzy, looping beat serves as the perfect backdrop to set the tone for the duo to pay homage to the '90s boom-bap sound with honest, true-to-life lyricism about their come up.
The accompanying video was directed by CEO Productions who stays focused on the two emcees as they wallow in the excesses of the fast life they rap on the record. The viewers get to see G-Dot and Born as they cruise through Boston in style. They also stop by their favorite Chinatown spot to grab some grub before calling it a night.
