London singer-songwriter Loria Boban brings the funk to town with new live video of her song “Funk Lover Soldiers”. The soulful jam is a blend of old and new as Boban taps into the spirit of '70s funk luminaries to deliver a groove-filled performance laced with social commentary. The song reflects on the current state of affairs and aims to invoke change from within each individual with its uplifting message.
The independently made live in-studio video captures Boban in her work environment as she leads the band on a very soul-gripping musical journey. Boban also had a hand in co-producing, co-directing and co-editing the video. "Funk Lover Soldiers" was recorded on the 24th of March 2019 at Bell Studios in London by Jake Jason Read with a team of 29 people making it Boban's biggest production to date.
Boban states that the track should be the soundtrack to a worldwide push to give the voice back to the people, “with a little help of Peace, Love & Harmony.”
